Tensometer calibration

Budget tensometers are not always calibrated by the manufacturer, and the values displayed by them sometimes differ from the actual values by even several dozen percent. On the other hand, in high-quality devices, the readings become less accurate over time due to wear and tear of the components or fatigue of the spring material. Periodic calibration of the tension gauge allows to maintain its high measurement accuracy. Using our calibrator, we are able to verify the values displayed by the tensometer and correctly set its readings in relation to the absolute values of the tension. We calibrate each gauge on three different spokes: Sapim Leader, Race, and CX-Ray.
