The EN 32 is a carbon wheelset built for the most demanding enduro trails, where durability matters most. If you’re looking for wheels that can take landings off big drops, casing on jumps and long rock gardens, yet won’t weigh you down on long climbs – you’ve just found them.

• Extreme impact resistance
The EN 32 carbon rims feature a reinforced layup, thicker rim walls and extra reinforcement around the nipple holes. In impact testing they comfortably withstood 160 J – a figure reserved for the strongest downhill rims. What does that mean in practice? Picture a direct hit from a 16-kilogram steel weight dropped from one metre straight onto a bare rim, with no tyre fitted.

• 32 mm width – confidence in every berm
A 32 mm internal width is today’s gold standard for modern enduro. A profile this wide gives the sidewalls of 2.4″-2.6″ tyres solid support and stops them folding over in the berms. It also lets you run lower pressure with confidence, and lower pressure means a larger contact patch – better grip under braking, in tight corners and on steep traverses.

• A strong build, ready for e-MTB
For all its toughness, the EN 32 keeps the lively, responsive feel that carbon does so well. It’s surprisingly light for such a reinforced construction – something you’ll appreciate on every change of direction and every climb. That strength also means the EN 32 can be built in a dedicated e-MTB specification with no change to the rim: laced onto rugged DT Swiss 350 Hybrid DEG 60t DF hubs with heavier-gauge Sapim Strong spokes, for a set ready for the motor’s substantial torque and the extra loads that come with it.

We build EN 32 wheels by hand, to order, in our Warsaw workshop. At the heart of the set are top-tier hubs with near-instant engagement. You can choose the dependable DT Swiss 350 with the DEG 72t system or the flagship DT Swiss 240 DEG 90t. The e-MTB version is built on DT Swiss 350 Hybrid DEG 60t DF hubs. Careful hand-lacing and multi-stage spoke stress-relieving make sure the wheels stay stiff and true through many seasons of hard abuse.

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We configure EN 32 wheels for the Boost standard by default – 15×110 mm axles up front and 12×148 mm at the rear. The hubs in this model use an IS 6-bolt disc mount. If your bike runs the Super Boost 12×157 mm standard or anything else, get in touch and we’ll suggest a solution.

The 32 mm internal width is optimised for enduro tyres in the 2.4″–2.6″ range, though you can also safely fit 2.3″ tyres as well as wider 2.8″ ones – that comes down to your frame clearance. A profile this wide gives you a larger contact patch, better sidewall support in tight corners and the option to ride at lower pressure with confidence. EN 32 rims are hookless, the standard in the MTB world.

Yes. Every EN 32 wheel leaves our Warsaw workshop already taped with correctly sized tubeless tape – just add sealant and mount your tyres. Tubeless valves aren’t included in the set, but you can add them from our shop. Add them to your basket together with the wheels and we’ll make sure they’re the right length, with a base shape matched to the EN 32 rim profile.

160 joules is the figure EN 32 rims reach in a standardised impact test. For comparison: typical XC rims withstand 60-90 J, the enduro standard is 100-120 J, and figures above 130 J are reserved for the downhill world. The test itself involves repeatedly dropping a steel weight of well over ten kilograms onto the edge of a bare rim (no tyre) from greater and greater heights – until it fails.

The laws of physics are unforgiving – there’s no such thing as a wheel that can’t be broken. We’ve done everything we can to help the EN 32 take as much punishment on the trail as possible: a careful hand-build on 32 spokes and reinforced rims rated to 160 J in impact testing. But we also know what real enduro riding looks like – a crash, a cased jump or a square hit against a sharp rock can damage any rim, even the toughest carbon or aluminium one. Damage of this kind isn’t covered by the warranty, because it doesn’t stem from material defects or production faults. Accidents are part of this sport – which is why we repair wheels damaged on the trail on preferential terms under our 3-year Crash Replacement programme.

EN 32 wheels carry an ASTM 4 classification, which means they’re approved for aggressive enduro, all-mountain, bike park riding and jumps and drops up to 1.2 m. The system weight limit (rider + bike + luggage) is 130 kg in the standard specification and 140 kg in the e-MTB specification with Sapim Strong spokes. Those figures mean the EN 32 comfortably handles heavier riders too.

Yes – the EN 32 is one of our few wheelsets we also build in a dedicated e-MTB specification. In this version we lace them onto rugged DT Swiss 350 Hybrid hubs with the DEG 60t DF system (designed specifically for the torque of electric motors) and heavier-gauge Sapim Strong spokes, which handle the extra loads the assistance generates. The EN 32 carbon rim itself needs no modification – its 160 J strength sits comfortably within e-MTB requirements, with margin to spare. Choose the e-MTB version when configuring your wheels and you get a set that’s ready for the heaviest loads, with no risk of voiding the warranty.

The EN 32 is our strongest MTB wheelset, designed for enduro and gravity riding – unlike the XC 30, an ultralight set for cross-country and MTB marathons. The EN 32 rim has a wider internal profile (32 vs 30 mm) for wider tyres, significantly higher impact strength and heavier-gauge spokes in the e-MTB specification. If you race XC or ride long marathons, choose the XC 30. If your element is steep descents, bike parks, roots and rocks – the EN 32 is built for exactly that.
