The spoked wheel design is around 4,000 years old.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For millennia, wheels for all vehicles were made by specialized craftsmen\u2014wheelwrights. The slow decline of this craft began in the 19th century as machine-made wheels became more widespread. Nevertheless, in 1937, Poland still had around 8,000 wheelwright workshops. We are the successors of this tradition. Today, the majority of bicycle wheels are also produced by machines. However, even the most advanced truing robots cannot match the precision of an experienced wheel-builder.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In addition, the wheels should be as light and stiff as possible. Finding a balance between these parameters is a challenging task that we have undertaken. Assembling wheels with a shockingly low weight is easy. The real challenge is to build wheels that will cover several tens of thousands of kilometers without fail.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
