Wheel building using the supplied components

We build wheels to order using components you select or provide. Using our knowledge and years of experience, we will optimize the parameters to your weight, riding style, and the conditions in which you will be using the wheels. We have all the professional tools necessary for building and truing high-quality wheels. That includes a truing stand with precision gauges, a P&K Lie spoke tension gauge, a wheel stabilization press, a wheel dish gauge, spoke holders for flat spokes, and keys for all existing types of nipples. We build all types of wheels on products from our offer and beyond.

Service includes:
– Component dimensioning;
– Selection of the appropriate spoke model and length;
– Assembly of the wheel and tensioning of the spokes;
– Elimination of lateral runout;
– Elimination of radial runout;
– Setting the wheel’s dish;
– Equalizing the spoke tension;
– Stabilization of the wheel on a pneumatic press.

We true wheels with the utmost care but are limited by the imperfections in the rim’s construction. Therefore, we cannot provide exact ranges of permissible lateral and radial runout in the case of supplied components. Some rims allow for truing the wheel with an accuracy of 0.05 mm, while others only 0.5 mm.

There is an additional charge of PLN 30 per wheel for building wheels with internal nipples. Building a wheel on a rim without spoke holes is PLN 600 per wheel. We build all the wheels in our workshop in Warsaw.

We don’t build wheels using supplied spokes.

We build wheels of all types and in any size — from 16 inches to 29er, on J-bend and straight pull spokes for road bikes, mountain bikes, cyclocross bikes, gravel bikes, tandems, recumbent bikes, and others.
