A WHEEL IS MORE THAN SUM OF ITS PARTS
Over the years, we have serviced wheels from other manufacturers.
Over the years, we have serviced wheels from other manufacturers. We have had the opportunity to learn about hundreds of different hub and rim models and many of the technical solutions used by companies in the industry. We found that many wheels on the market were designs assembled without due care using inadequately low-quality components. We stopped servicing all wheels because we spent more time fixing other people’s mistakes than building our wheels. This allowed us to focus on building our brand. Our designs are well thought-out and mature thanks to the experience we have gained from thousands of hours of servicing various wheels.
The rim is a critical component of the wheel, as its characteristics determine its character and purpose.
The rim’s inner width affects riding comfort, rolling resistance, and grip. The height and shape of the profile affect the wheel’s aerodynamic characteristics and sensitivity to side gusts of wind. The low weight of the rim translates into dynamic acceleration and easy climbing. We have strict requirements for this component, as its quality greatly impacts the wheel’s stability.
For our wheels, we only use premium hubs from proven manufacturers.
Our priorities are reliability, durability and ease of service. In order to meet these priorities, we use only the highest quality materials, uncompromising precision workmanship, thoughtful design, and availability of spare parts. We subject our hubs to rigorous testing in both laboratory and real-world conditions to ensure that they are reliable and durable. In addition, we subject each piece to a thorough quality check before lacing it into a wheel to ensure that our wheels are of the highest possible quality.
Spokes are often overlooked, but they are the key components determining the wheel’s stiffness.
We only use Sapim and DT Swiss spokes and nipples because we believe that these are the highest-quality spokes and nipples available. We carefully select spoke lengths to the nearest 0.5 mm and then shorten and thread them on the Morizumi machine, the best threading machine on the market. This ensures that spokes and nipples do not break during the subsequent life of the wheels.
